Egyptian parents lock small kids in an apartment and escape; Filipina chases away Sri Lankan ex-lover

KUWAIT CITY, June 14: An Egyptian couple for no apparent reason has reportedly left the country after locking their two sons inside an apartment in Khaitan, reports Al- Anba daily. The boys are believed to be just four and six years old and they were discovered after their grandfather complained to police that he had not heard from his son for a couple of days.

Police accompanied by the grandfather then went to the apartment and forced open the door and found the two frightened looking boys. They have been handed over to the grandfather. No more details are available.

Filipina chases away ‘devil’ ex-lover
“You are a devil… devil, devil” exclaimed a Filipino lady during a quarrel with her Sri Lankan ex-lover in Maidan Hawalli area. The Filipino lady went to the area police station after the fall out and filed a case against the ex-lover for harassing her on the way to her office. She said the man who tried to start a fight with her fled the scene when she shouted for help. A case was registered for investigation.
