KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: Dr Ahmed Abdel Hamid Zayed, an Egyptian nephrologist, died at Jahra Hospital recently due to coronavirus, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The late doctor, who worked in Kuwait for six years, is the third Egyptian doctor who succumbed to corona. He was infected with the virus two months ago and was confined in the intensive care unit about a month ago. He worked on the frontline of the fight against corona for three months before being infected.
The doctor was 37 years old and had three children -- the youngest of whom is a four-month old baby.
