PACI to delete 50,000 residential addresses due to counting errors

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 11: Approximately 50,000 residential addresses have been deleted or will be deleted soon after the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) identified errors in counting residential addresses in various governorates.

Meanwhile, government agencies that deal with individuals whose nationalities have been revoked have finished setting up their procedures within the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), the Ministry of Interior, and the Personal Investigation Department.

Sources explained that the civil identification numbers for these individuals will remain unchanged, but their unified numbers and nationalities will be updated on official documents and birth certificates. If their original nationalities are known, these will be recorded on their birth certificates. For those with unknown original nationalities, their cases will be handled according to the regulations of the Central System for Remedying Status of Illegal Residents.
