Bid to smuggle birds foiled

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: An Iranian expatriate was arrested at Doha Port for attempting to smuggle ten bustards and a falcon into the country. According to sources, customs officers at Doha Port led by Khalid Al- Failakawi checked a refrigerator on the boat of an Iranian expatriate to discover it contained some food boxes. Inside these boxes, officers found ten bustards and a falcon. Necessary action was taken against the owner of the boat.
