Asian expat dies in traffic accident

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 26: An Egyptian motorist knocked down and killed an Asian expatriate while he was trying to cross a road in Khaitan area. Acting on information, the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry dispatched a rescue team to the scene.

The officers upon their arrival checked the victim and declared him dead, and the body was taken to Forensics by Criminal Evidences men.

The Egyptian was referred to the area police station for questioning and he told detectives that the victim appeared on the road suddenly and he couldn’t avoid hitting him. Meanwhile, an Egyptian expatriate was taken to Mubarak Hospital amid severe wound in the hands and feet after a traffic accident in Hawalli area. A case was registered.
