Amir sends cable of thanks for his sincere sentiments

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Thursday a congratulatory cable from Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St Mark on the 14th anniversary of His Highness the Amir’s assumption of power.

In the cable, Pope Tawadros II commended His Highness the Amir’s great efforts and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless His Highness the Amir so as to continue his path for the sake of all. The pope appreciated His Highness the Amir as an example of love, a Humanitarian Leader and a pioneer of tolerance.

Pope Tawadros II also congratulated His Highness the Amir on the country’s National Day and the Liberation Day. In return, His Highness the Amir sent a cable of thanks to Pope Tawadros II, appreciating him for his sincere sentiments and congratulations. His Highness the Amir wished Pope Tawadros II everlasting wellbeing.
