Al-Qadsiya swimming team ‘victorious’ – Al-Yarmouk finish in 2nd

KUWAIT CITY, May 9: Al-Qadsiya Swimming Team emerged victorious as the overall champions in the general category of the swimming competition with 9 points ahead of Al-Yarmouk team which came second with 8 points and Al-Kuwait Team which came third with 7 points. According to a press release, the swimmers of category 11-12 years of age from Al-Qadsiya Sports Club took first place with 4 points. Al-Qadsiya’s swimmers of category 15-17 years of age came second with 3 points while its senior team garnered 2 points to occupy second position in that category.

The team excelled by winning first position in the categories of 7, 8 and 10 years. They took second and third places in the 6 and 9 years categories respectively. The team came second with 8 points in the diving category behind Kazma team which took first place with 18 points. Al-Kuwait team came third with 7 points.
