80,000 women among 300,000 who broke red signal

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: The statistics issued by the General Traffic Department for 2017, show more than 300,000 people violated the red signal and that 80,000 of them were female motorists, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting informed security sources. The source added, the statistics also included 37,421direct violations — 29,010 committed by male motorists and 8,411 female. Of the 266,886 indirect violations, the daily said 162,428 were committed by male motorists and 71,806 by female motorists and 32,652 registered in the name of companies.
