3 men Bedoun gang arrested for stealing and selling sheep

KUWAIT CITY, May 30: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department, specifically personnel from the Northern Jahra Investigation Department have arrested a three-man gang of bedoun who are believed to be in their 30s for stealing and selling sheep after targeting animal pens and farms, reports Al-Anba daily.

During interrogation they admitted to renting four-wheel vehicles for the purpose and replacing the car plate numbers with one of stolen vehicles. During interrogation they admitted to stealing at least 100 heads of cattle and keeping them in a place belonging to the relative of one of them. They had planned to sell the sheep during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays.

The arrest, according to a security source, came after a number of cases of theft of sheep, were filed with the area police station. The security authorities expect to solve at least 20 cases of sheep theft
