192 Expats arrested in Mubarak Al Kabeer and Ahmadi area for violating residence law

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: The Ministry of Interior team under the supervision of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major General Farraj Al Zoubi conducted security campaigns targeting residence violators and absconders which resulted in the arrest of 192 violators.

In Ahmadi directorate 74 residence violators were held from which some of them had absconding cases. In Mubarak Al Kabeer 118 residence violators were arrested; the majority of them were domestic workers absconding from their sponsors as cases were filed on them.

Arrested residence violators will be transferred to prison where they will be deported to their country of origin after summoning their sponsors and taking legal measures against them and paying them for their travel expenses.
