KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6: Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, announced its main sponsorship of the 6th edition of RoadRush. The motorsport activity, which exclusively aims at women, takes place from November 2015 until February 2016.

Zain’s support to this unique racing competition comes in line with the company’s core commitment to Kuwaiti youth’s various interests and activities, which resembles the company’s endless confidence in the competencies of youth and their capabilities in excelling in different fields.

RoadRush aims at encouraging and inspiring women to participate in motorsports that are usually associated with men. The event provides an ideal opportunity for women to showcase their talents in an exciting series of events that involve several thrilling activities taking place in Kuwait and Bahrain.

RoadRush will feature a number of activities that are related to car racing, in which women with different skill levels can participate and enjoy. The event already kick-started with a Karting race that witnessed the participation of many teams who competed in a thrilling atmosphere at Kuwait’s SIRBB Circuit, including the company’s own “Zain team”.

Additionally, the event will witness the organization of the main race that will be held at Bahrain International Circuit next January, where professional participants will enjoy an experience that is considered as a real test to their potentials in the motorsport field.

Zain’s sponsorship of this thrilling event stems from its utmost responsibility of youth’s talent development and the sports sector, which comes in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. The company will spare no efforts in supporting causes and initiatives that spread awareness on certain areas that concern the Kuwaiti youth.
