Wrestler in row with Kuwait TV presenter ‘dies’

KUWAIT CITY, June 23: WWE and WCE wrestler Leon White “Vader Time” died Monday night after suffering from heart diseases for a long time, reports Al-Nahar daily.

He was also known as Big Van Vader and was popular in the 1990s. He emerged in the WWE arena for the first time in 1996 wearing a red mask and attracting fans with his distinguished style. After joining WCW and winning World Heavyweight Championship, he achieved great success in the USA.

In Kuwait, Vader Time is known for the wrong reasons – for attacking Kuwaiti presenter Bassam Al-Othman during an interview in the show titled “Sabah Al-Khair ya Kuwait” (Good Morning Kuwait). Reportedly, Vader Time became infuriated when Al-Othman asked him if WWE was real or fake. He broke the table that was in front of him and attacked Al-Othman.
