Workers demand more allowances

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: A delegation from the Workers Syndicate in Kuwait Municipality met Chairman of the Government Performance Follow-up Agency Sheikh Ahmad Meshaal Al-Ahmad in his office at Al-Seif Palace.
Board Chairman of the syndicate Mohammad Al-Arada affirmed that they discussed issues concerning workers at the Municipality.
During the meeting, the issue of fairness was raised and the syndicate demanded that university degree holders working in the field of environmental protection and health should be treated fairly to have similar or better allowances like their colleagues without qualifications. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Meshaal acknowledged and showed concern for the demands of the syndicate.
