‘Women for senior jobs’

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf Yaqoub Al- Sane will soon nominate names of some competent women to take charge of senior positions in the ministry, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting reliable ministry sources.
The sources said Al-Sane will neither deprive qualified women from taking senior position in the Awqaf Ministry nor monopolize the ministry for men in senior positions. Meanwhile, the Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Development at the ministry, Khalid Bu Ghaith said that nine women have been sent for the preparation and leadership training course in the United Arab Emirates to prepare them to take up senior jobs.
