Woman among 5 men arrested with drugs, alcohol

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: Private Taskforce officers arrested two Kuwaiti men, a Kuwaiti woman, a Syrian, an Iranian and a Bedoun in Hawally area separately in possession of alcohol, hashish, drugs and drug paraphernalia. According to security sources, Private Taskforce officers were patrolling Hawally area when they stopped two individuals based on suspicions and checked their details to discover they are Kuwaiti citizens.

They checked them to find hashish, alcohol and drug paraphernalia. The suspects were arrested and referred with the confiscated items to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action.

The officers also arrested a Syrian, an Iranian and a Bedoun in possession of hashish and drug paraphernalia.

They were also referred to the concerned authorities. In addition, a 1966-born Kuwaiti woman was arrested in possession of narcotic pills, hashish and drug paraphernalia and referred to Drugs Control General Department.
