‘My wife beat me up’ – New luxury car, pickup truck stolen

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 22: An unknown individual stole a Kuwaiti girl’s newly-bought luxury vehicle which was parked in front of her house in Jabriya area. According to security sources, the Kuwaiti girl went to Jabriya Police Station and informed securitymen about the theft. She explained that she had recently bought the 2016 model of the European-made vehicle for KD 14,000. It was parked in front of her house in Jabriya area when it was stolen. Securitymen circulated the description of the stolen vehicle to all patrol teams. Meanwhile, a Bangladeshi expatriate reported at Mahboula Police Station about the theft of his pickup vehicle, which belongs to the company where he works. He revealed that he went to a grocery shop in Mahboula area and when he came out of the shop, he was shocked to find the vehicle missing. A case was registered and investigations have been launched to find the stolen vehicle.

‘My wife beat me’: A Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s filed a case at Al- Salaam Police Station against his wife, accusing her of beating him during a quarrel between them. According to security sources, the man brought a medical report with him to indicate the minor injuries he sustained in the attack. Securitymen have launched investigations to find and arrest the woman.

Man caught drunk: A Kuwaiti citizen born in 1973 was apprehended under the influence of alcohol. Apparently, the citizen engaged in a quarrel with a Lebanese expatriate after hitting the rear of his vehicle. The victim is said to have filed a report with officers at Maidan Hawalli police station and they found the citizen in possession of foreign liquor “Jackson” upon their arrival to the scene. He was referred for further investigation.
