KUWAIT CITY, June 28: A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in Al- Naseem area in Jahra in possession of unlicensed weapons, ammunition, liquor bottles and narcotic pills, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, when officers from General Department for Weapons Investigations revealed information about a Kuwaiti citizen in possession of unlicensed weapons and ammunition, investigations were carried out to confirm the information.

After taking necessary legal measures, they raided the suspect’s property in Al-Naseem area and arrested him. During interrogations, he confessed that he has hidden his weapons and ammunitions in his livestock pen in Salmi area. Officers rushed to the location and conducted a search to eventually find one Kalashnikov, five boxes of bullets along with a large quantity of ammunition, one hunting rifle (shozen) and 12 boxes of bullets used in hunting rifles.
