Warba Bank honors employees for their performances in 2015 – Ceremony attended by bank’s management

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: Having as its fundamental principle and conviction that the workforce is part and parcel of the Bank’s success and high achievement, Warba Bank — the fastest growing bank in Kuwait, which provides a wide spectrum of Shariah compliant banking and investment — held its annual Employee Excellence Awards on Jan 27 at the exquisite seaside venue Sheikhah Salwa Sabah Al-Ahmad Hall at the Marina Hotel to recognize and reward high achievers of its various Group departments for their outstanding efforts and their exemplary contributions to the Bank’s success.

Highlighting the occasion, Warba Bank Vice Chairman & CEO, Jassar Dakheel Al Jassar, addressed the employees and said, “we at Warba Bank value the efforts of our employees  whom we have always viewed as the essential element in the successful progress of the Bank since its inception in 2010 and, thus, we are always keen on encouraging and motivating them for their strong efforts to drive more positive results that add to Warba Bank’s success records so we all can achieve distinction and greatness with the Bank.

Today, the efforts of our employees have been fruitful and are realized in the growth that the Bank has achieved in its operational revenues and financing portfolio.”

Al-Jassar added, “we will not spare any effort in supporting our employees to help them become more creative and great in order to reach this noble goal, god willing.

We are keen on positive investments in our employees and workforce and will implement trainings in the Islamic banking industry to ensure they can deliver superior services to our customers in line with standards of quality and excellence”.

Al-Jassar congratulated the winners for their outstanding achievements and their realization of the tasks and goals entrusted to them, which reflected their commitment to the bank and their contribution to improving the work environment that resulted in raising morale and the spirit of competitiveness at the Bank.

Al-Jassar emphasized that Warba Bank will continue to recruit competent Kuwaiti talent — a pivotal principle in the Bank development strategy.

He also stressed the Bank’s commitment to strengthen local expertise from its leadership and rewarding them adequately.

The evening commenced with an opening speech by the MC, followed by a short video of various achievements and the awards handouts to winners who gathered in the ceremony to receive their recognition awards and certificates of appreciation from Warba Bank CEO. Photos were taken to commemorate the occasion.

In addition to the awards and to engage the audience; the evening also included some competitions and games revolved around the bank’s latest services and products resulted in prizes being awarded to winners. Following these recreational activities, the evening was concluded by raffle draws, prizes and a dinner.
