Wanted Kuwaiti caught with drugs

KUWAIT CITY, July 11: An Asian expatriate was arrested in Abu Halifa area in possession of drugs. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling the area at night under the guidance of Ahmadi Security Director Brigadier Abdullah Safa when they suspected an expatriate who was walking in the area and approached him.

However, when he started to run away, securitymen chased and eventually caught him. They checked his details and discovered he is an Asian, and they found drugs in his possession. He was arrested and referred with the confiscated drugs to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, Criminal Security officers arrested a Kuwaiti citizen, who is wanted by law for his involvement in a number of criminal cases, in possession of different types of illicit drugs. He was referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Similarly, Farwaniya securitymen have apprehended a citizen in Abdullah Al-Mubarak as he had earlier evaded arrest for the possession of an undisclosed quantity of drugs, reports Al-Shahid daily. While patrolling the area, the officers got suspicious when the suspect tried to flee upon sensing police presence. The officers pursued him and referred him to the relevant security department
