US Embassy expresses heartfelt condolences on Amir’s demise

KUWAIT, Sept 29: Kuwait’s Embassy in Kuwait expressed heartfelt condolences on passing away of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Tuesday.

“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of His Highness the Amir as well as to the people of Kuwait for the passing of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah,” the embassy said in a statement.

The US, it said, mourns the “loss of this true friend, who distinguished himself by his exceptional leadership, humanitarianism, and overall efforts to bring about a more stable and secure region.
“Our history with His Highness the Amir goes back decades and his loss will be deeply felt. He was a steadfast friend and partner,” it said. (KUNA)
