Unapproved Ice Cream Carts Removed

KUWAIT CITY, May 3:: The joint inspection campaign in Al-Ahmadi Governorate is part of ongoing efforts by the authorities to maintain law and order and ensure public safety. The collaboration between the General Traffic Department, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, and the Kuwait Municipality demonstrates a coordinated approach to enforcing regulations and promoting responsible behavior among citizens.

As a result of the campaign, 40 traffic violations of varying types were issued. The violators were penalized according to the law to ensure compliance and improve road safety.

In accordance with Article 33 of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition Law, the inspectors also uncovered eight ice cream carts in violation. These carts were not complying with the law’s approval and signatory requirements. As a result, they were cited for violations and action was taken to address the issue. Eight carts that violated the approval and signatory requirements, nine other ice cream carts were removed due to noncompliance with Kuwait Municipality regulations. This action was necessary to ensure the safety of consumers and uphold food standards.
