UI Developer

Hands-on with developing web applications and the integration with server side applications. This role will serve as a SME on a particular web application and will be required to gain complete understanding of business requirements and the needs of the client. This role will ensure both UX and development practices are in line with company best practices and policies.
Responsibilities
- Strong time management skills with ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, and handle multiple priorities
- Self-motivated and good level of focus/concentration with ability to prioritize, follow-through, and complete tasks on time
- Ability to exercise good judgement and handle confidential and sensitive issues
- Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated product team
- Ability to understand all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Qualifications
- 5 years of work experience building web applications using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- 5 years of work experience with responsive and adaptive design and web development process (design, development and deployment) with backend knowledge
- Experience with application frameworks like Bootstrap, AngularJS, BackboneJS, jQuery, jQuery UI, etc
- Experience with a relational database such as Oracle and Postgres, including schema design, as well as SQL
- Experience with RESTful and AJAX services
- Experience with mobile (IOS, HTML5, Andriod) platform development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience with Agile SCRUM
- Experience with issue tracking software (JIRA)
