Two youths steal month’s rent, flee

KUWAIT CITY, March 12: Two unknown youths stole KD 3,000 from an Egyptian expatriate who had collected this amount from the tenants of a building in Khaitan area, says Al-Seyassah.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the incident, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. They discovered that two youths who were dressed in casual attire stopped the victim on the road, beat him severely and then robbed him of the money which was the rents paid by the tenants of the building.

The victim was referred to Farwaniya Hospital for treatment. Using the description of the suspects provided by the victim, securitymen launched investigations to find and arrest them. Meanwhile, an Asian expatriate reported at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station that an unknown individual who was driving an Americanmade car stopped him on the road and hit him before fleeing from the location.
