Two Egyptians die in road accidents

KUWAIT CITY, March 25: An unidentified Egyptian died after being hit by a four-wheel drive in the suburb of Saad Al- Abdullah, reports Al-Rai daily. According to a security source, the driver of the four-wheel drive, a citizen, informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior and soon an ambulance with paramedics rushed to the spot but could do nothing to save the life of the man. He apparently died on the spot. A run-over death case has been registered, and the citizen has been detained at the area police station and the corpse has been handed over to Forensics.

Meanwhile, another Egyptian died after his car ran out of control and collided into a bridge on Nuwaiseeb Road, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said air ambulance was rushed to the spot with paramedics and the man was given first aid, but he died on the way. A case of collision death has been registered at the area police station.

In the meantime, a bedoun inmate died in one of the wards of the Central Prison, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, when the inmate lay unconscious security men rushed the inmate to internal clinic, but the doctor on duty pronounced him dead upon arrival.
