Two dead in gruesome smash-up

KUWAIT CITY, July 11: Two individuals died when their vehicle collided with a heavy vehicle on King Fahad Expressway. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, securitymen, firefighters and paramedics rushed to the location.

They discovered that a vehicle had crashed into a heavy vehicle, resulting in the instant death of the two occupants in the vehicle. The corpses were extricated from the vehicle and referred to the Forensics Department.

Meanwhile, two Kuwaiti citizens sustained serious injuries when their vehicle collided with a bus near the bridge of Shuwaikh Port in another accident. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, securitymen, firefighters and paramedics rushed to the location.

Firefighters pulled out the two victims who were trapped inside their vehicle. Paramedics referred them to Jahra Hospital for treatment. Securitymen moved the vehicle and bus away from the road and organized the traffic.
