Two burnt to death in accident

KUWAIT CITY, June 19: The charred remains of two people who perished when their vehicle crashed into a lamppost and went up in flames on Abdali Farms Road have been deposited to Forensics. A security source said the bodies of the two deceased victims have yet to be identified as they’re burnt beyond recognition. He noted a rescue team dispatched to the scene after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received report about the incident dealt with the situation.

A case was registered. Meanwhile, a lorry went up in flames on King Fahad Expressway without any human casualty. A security source said the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received report about a lorry engulfed by fire at the aforementioned location. A team of firemen accompanied by securitymen and paramedics went to the scene and managed to contain the blaze.

Initial report indicated the fire was caused by a short circuit. And, firemen managed to contain and extinguish another fire that broke out in a saloon car on Jahra Road after colliding with another car. They dealt with the situation and traffic was restored.
