KUWAIT CITY, Jan 21: Two Arab expatriates were arrested for committing a series of robberies with the use of violence and impersonation of police, whereas the total value of the stolen items, including 17 mobile phones, is estimated at KD 46,500 among other unreported incidents.

The security officers received information that the two suspects broke into an apartment, told its dwellers that they are police officers, searched the entire apartment and then carted away gold worth KD 4,000 and KD 1,500 cash.

Immediately, the officers sampled the crime and conducted investigations while comparing crimes of similar nature. After several weeks, the robbers attempted to break into another apartment in Mangaf where they were arrested and they confessed to have committed several robberies in the past. The suspects were identified by their victims before being referred to the concerned authorities where the necessary
