Traffic police to record encounters

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 6: Three security sectors of the Ministry of Interior (the General Traffic, Rescue and Public Security departments) have begun on experimental basis recording of conversation between patrolmen and motorists when they are ordered to pull over, reports Al-Shahed daily.
This is done with the help of advanced audio/video technology. A security source said the camera installed in the police vehicle can document the conversation 200 meters away.
