Traffic accident kills citizen, injure 2

KUWAIT CITY, April 25: A Kuwaiti citizen died and two others sustained injuries when his sports car collided with another vehicle in Kabad area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, securitymen, paramedics and firefighters rushed to the location and discovered that the victims were trapped inside their vehicles. They were immediately pulled out and examined.

However, a Kuwaiti citizen who was driving a sports car with GCC number plate had succumbed to serious injuries. His corpse was referred to the Forensics Department. The other two victims were seriously injured and referred to the nearest hospital where they were admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Securitymen launched investigations to determine the cause of the accident. The two vehicles were removed from the road and the traffic was organized.

Meanwhile, an Egyptian woman sustained injuries when her vehicle collided with another on King Fahad Expressway. She was referred to the nearest hospital for treatment.
