KUWAIT CITY, May 5: Personnel from the Sentences Enforcement Department have seized the chairman of a public benefit society and a former candidate to the parliamentary elections who had been sentenced to four years imprisonment in absentia for committing forgery, reports Al-Rai daily.

A security source said the former candidate is a businessman and runs a number of companies. He was seized by three security agents who were assigned to monitor him. He was taken into custody as soon as he left his office in the Capital. He has been handed over to the concerned authority.
