The facts which were exposed yesterday shut the doors tight in the face of the winds of rumors and the psychological and media warfare and the Iranian terrorist activities against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the entire GCC states.

The Kingdom has proved beyond doubt that it is bigger than all challenges. Riyadh has made it known that it can protect the region with its vision and commitment to values, the Islamic faith and moderation which was spelled out by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in his first royal speech to the Shura Council after ascending the throne.

In the past, venomous speeches and analyses which the kingdom was subjected to spread copiously to depict the kingdom as struggling for economic survival amidst reports of its intention to withdraw from the warfront in Yemen.

Moreover, the level of these rumors and allegations reached the ruling house to the extent of telling lies about conflicts within which gave rise to speculations.

Moreover, these rumors raised many eyebrows among the people in the GCC countries who wanted to know the reason for Saudi Arabia until the reply came from the head of the authority in the kingdom in the person of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

He reminded them of the stability of the Saudi policy which is based on certain consistent grounds which includes compliance with international pacts, defending Arab and Islamic issues, controlling terrorism, achieving stability and security in the world and unified stands to confront risks and challenges which surround the Arab and Islamic nations. His crystal clear words put at rest all doubts from the minds of the people.

Saudi Arabia, as King Salman said is established on the Holy Qur’an and Sunna of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He added, “I am honored to serve the Two Holy Mosques and people who visit these holy places. Moreover, the Kingdom since its establishment has witnessed national unity which all citizens admit.”

He added the Kingdom has not changed its policy at any level, be it economical or otherwise. To the contrary on the economic front Saudi Arabia moved forward as it continued to fiercely confront the terrorist war unleashed against the Kingdom and the GCC countries.

The wheel of development continued to move forward without being influenced by the fluctuations in the world economy. This is evidenced by the sturdiness of its institutions and the nation’s determination to confront all changes and challenges.

Well done, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Your message has reassured the people and clear all doubts and suspicions of the past phase from their minds. The message has come from the first person of a country who represents the Arabian Gulf, the Arab and Islamic economic and political locomotive.

He has also spread evenly the role which the Shura Council must play to help continue in the forward march and the road to development of the kingdom without being influenced by any emergency factors.

Several observers in the region have been waiting for this message from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques that meets the satisfaction of the Saudi, Gulf and Arab elite to prevent the people from being entrapped by rumors and lies which the antagonistic media has been feeding to destabilize the region and weaken the belief of the subjects in their leaders, governments and institutions.

Thank you, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz for this royal speech which has reassured the people and removed the veil of darkness which had distorted the facts about the region’s economy, social and human development.

The aim was to push the region’s youth into the bosom of terrorism as fuel for the war of Iranian expansionism and greed because Tehran can accomplish such missions only with the blood of young men who are the future and the pillars of the GCC nation.
