KUWAIT CITY, June 13: Director of Public Hygiene and Road Works at the Hawalli Branch of Kuwait Municipality Dr Saad Al-Jalawi said the administration is working hard and diligently in implementing the contracts with cleaning companies in order to achieve sustainability in the cleaning process, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Al-Jalawi added, those who dump garbage in open garbage bags will have to pay KD 300 fine. He said all garbage bags must be tied before they are dumped in the garbage bin. He added people caught throwing cigarette butts and paper tissues will have to pay KD 5 fine.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health said the issue of expired medicines will be dealt with in a proper manner and has called on the all concerned department to notify the ministry about the expiry date, reports Al-Anba daily. The Medical Warehouses Department after receiving the lists of expired medicines will complete the disposal procedures.
