Three Food factories shut in Ahmadi governorate

KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Director of Inspection Department at the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition in Al-Ahmadi Governorate Saoud Al-Jalal has announced the closure of three food factories, one of which makes pastries and sweets, for violating the law, reports Al-Qabas daily .

Al-Jalal went on to say that two shops and a department in an undisclosed establishment were shut down for operating without a health license from the authority. He added the inspection campaigns carried out recently led to the registration of 15 violations including failure to abide by health regulations, distribution of food not fit for human consumption, and opening nutritional establishment without license
