Three Bangladeshis held for forging govt contracts with firms, selling visas

KUWAIT CITY, March 12: Three Bangladeshi expatriates were arrested for forging work permits, reports Al- Anba daily. According to a security source, the suspects forged governmental contracts with companies, and then applied for work permits.

The gang used to sell each permit for KD 500. The head of the gang was arrested in possession of 72 permits. He eventually guided the police to his compatriot accomplices. All suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.

Citizen, Egyptian arrested: A Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for forging vehicle registration books and an Egyptian expatriate who was found with a forged drivers license and 16 forged vehicle registration books were arrested, reports Al-Anba daily Acting on a tip-off, Farwaniya securitymen arrested the Egyptian in a trap after he presented a forged driving license. They found him with 16 forged registration books in his possession. He eventually guided securitymen to his Kuwaiti accomplice, who was discovered to be wanted by law for serving seven years in prison over crimes relating to forgery of vehicle registration books. Both suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
