Thief strikes one hour before curfew starts

KUWAIT CITY, March 24: The Jahra police have arrested a thief who allegedly broke into a house in Al-Naseem one hour before the start of the curfew hours, reports Al-Anba daily.

A security source added the detectives managed to arrest the Kuwaiti born in 1999 who took advantage of the family’s absence from home and stole the contents. The thief is said to have stolen branded watches, bags, wallets, and ‘drones’.

The total value of the stolen goods is put at 20,000 dinars. The source said during preliminary investigations the Kuwaiti is said to have confessed to committing the crime with the help of two friends. Police are looking for the two partners.
