Teens, girlfriends in drugs

KUWAIT CITY, March 1: Three teenagers, including 2 girlfriends (14 years old) who were found in a car have been referred to the Criminal Investigations Department, reports Al-Anba daily. This happened when police were informed that a 15-year-old was slumped behind the steering wheel of his car in the parking lot of a well-known commercial complex. When police reached the spot they found drugs beside the juvenile and he admitted to smoking hashish. The trio was referred to the Juvenile Prosecution after a Forensic report showed the boy had consumed hashish but not the girls. The girls are believed to be a Jordanian and an Egyptian but it is not known whether they will be set free.

Meanwhile, police have arrested eight juveniles and are looking for five others for fighting at a Heritage Village, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, initially the fight broke out between two teenagers when one of them accused the other of staring at him. Following the fight between them, they were joined by their friends. They refused to be separated and police fired in the air to disperse them.
