Taxi driver, African maid to be deported

KUWAIT CITY, March 18: Assistant Undersecretary for Citizenship and Passports Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Major-General Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah has ordered the deportation of the taxi driver and the absconding female African domestic worker after they complete their legal problems, reports Al-Anba daily.

A security source said the Director of the Domestic Labor Department said during a security campaign and crackdown on violators of residence and labor laws, the taxi driver was caught with the maid in his car on whom the sponsor had filed a missing persons report.

During inspection of the car police found contraceptive pills used by women who engage in illegal relationship – to prevent pregnancy and to boost sex. According to security sources, the African woman told interrogators the driver drops and picks women who are involved in prostitution.
