Syrian caught

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 1: A Syrian expatriate who is wanted by law for the payment of a debt worth KD 14,000 was arrested on Second Ring Road. According to security sources, when Capital Securitymen were patrolling Second Ring Road based on instructions from Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, they suspected a vehicle driven by a man wearing national Kuwaiti dress. They ordered him to pull over and checked his details to discover he is a Syrian expatriate who is wanted by law for owing debt worth KD 14,000 to a company. When he tried to run away, securitymen managed to arrest him and referred him to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, a 31-year old Syrian expatriate, who is wanted by law for enforcement of a sentence of two-imprisonment issued against him over a theft case, was arrested in Farwaniya area. He has been referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
