KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: An Indian man employed by a private hospital as a laboratory technician jumped from the eighth floor of a building. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment. According to the spouse, the man exhibited an unusual attitude at the initial stage but she took it serious when they engaged in an argument and he suddenly claimed having the ability to fly and attempted to prove it. The woman said she quickly alerted the Operations Room when the husband went to the balcony and jumped to the ground floor. An ambulance ferried him to a hospital.

Filipina in funds scam: Security operatives attached to Hawalli Command apprehended a Filipina wanted for 10 different financial related offenses. She was referred to Civil Sentences Execution Department, says Al-Rai daily. A security source said patrol officers aroused suspicion of the woman when she tried to escape upon sighting them within the surrounding buildings. They kept monitoring her movement and caught up with her. She could not produce any form of identification when the officers requested her ID. They verified her status through fingerprint and discovered she was wanted for financial offense.
