Sultan of Oman arrives in Kuwait to offer condolences on the death of the late Amir

KUWAIT, October 1: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman and the accompanying delegation to His Majesty, arrived in the country this morning to offer condolences on the death of the late Amir, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. His Majesty was received at the airport by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.

His Majesty is accompanied by a delegation that includes His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, His Highness Sayyid Fatak bin Fahr Al Said, Special Envoy of His Majesty the Sultan, His Highness Sayyid Taymur bin Asaad Al Said, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman, and His Excellency Mr Khalid. Bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, His Excellency Lieutenant General Sultan bin Muhammad Al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Hamad bin Saeed Al Awfi, Head of the Special Office, and His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of State The Governor of Muscat, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Harrasi, Minister of Information, His Excellency Qais bin Muhammad Al-Youssef, Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion, and a number of officials.

His Highness the Amir of the country Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him, received him at the amiri airport this morning, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman and the accompanying delegation, as His Majesty offered condolences on the death His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

His Majesty also extended condolences to His Excellency the Speaker of the National Assembly, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, His Excellency Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Deputy Chief of the National Guard, His Excellency Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Muhammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister and a number of distinguished Sheikhs
