Suicides, accidents claim many Kuwaitis, expatriates dead over the last few weeks

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 2: The corpse of a Kuwaiti citizen in his 40s was discovered in an open yard in Sulaibiya area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the discovery of the corpse, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and recovered the corpse. They did not find any traces of violence on the corpse, and referred to the Forensics Department for autopsy. A case was registered, and investigations have been launched to determine the circumstances that led to the death of the citizen.

Maid commits suicide: An Asian domestic worker committed suicide by hanging in the house of her employer in Jahra. According to a security source, the Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry received a call concerning the incident. Police officers were then dispatched to the scene, together with paramedics who rushed the domestic worker to the nearest hospital where she was declared dead on arrival. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to determine circumstances leading to the suicide incident.
