Sri Lankan woman’s bag snatched

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 4: An unknown man snatched the handbag of a Sri Lankan woman while she was walking in Farwaniya area, says Al-Seyassah. She reported the theft at Farwaniya Police Station, saying the man, who was wearing casual wear, had snatched her handbag and ran away. She revealed that her handbag contained her identification documents, her mobile phone and KD 22 cash. Securitymen launched investigations to find and arrest the suspect.

Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti woman accused her Asian housemaid of stealing her gold ring and running away. She told securitymen that she had placed her ring on the TV stand inside her house in Qosur area. After she realized her ring is missing, she discovered that her housemaid is also missing. Securitymen launched investigations to find and arrest the suspect.

Tires, accessories stolen: A Syrian man filed a complaint with officers at Shuwaikh Police Station against unknown person (s) who raided a shop he manages and carted away with tires and sports car accessories, reports Al-Anba daily. The man who works as a shop attendant said he was surprised to find the main door broken when he arrived at the shop in the morning. Later, he realized that tires, sports cars accessories and some documents were missing. The police registered a case after lifting samples of fingerprints for investigation.
