Sri Lankan robbed by fake cop

KUWAIT CITY, June 23: The Ahmadi police are looking for an unidentified police for stealing KD 160 from a Sri Lankan, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the victim has filed a complaint with the Sabahiya Police Station. In his complaint the man claimed the suspect impersonating police asked him for his ID and when he pulled out the wallet, he was hit on the head and the man escaped with the money. The incident happened when he was on his way home.

Elderly man killed in accident: The remains of an unidentified 80-year-old Kuwaiti who died on a road in Salmi have been referred to Forensics, reports Al- Rai daily. The daily added, the man died after his vehicle overturned. Acting on information paramedics, firemen and police rushed to the spot but could do little to save the man. The cause of the accident is not known
