KUWAIT CITY, March 15: Head of Precautionary Health Division in Salmiya Health Center Dr Abdullah Bahbahni refuted rumors that some expatriates, who were requested to visit the checkup center in Mishref International Fair Grounds, took antipyretics before going to the center as the coronavirus symptoms include high fever, reports Al-Rai daily.

Speaking to the daily, Bahbahani explained that high fever is not the only symptom to identify suspected cases; especially since infection with various viral diseases is accompanied with other symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing or sneezing.

He asserted the medical professionals and staff assigned in the checkup center have vast experience in detecting and identifying suspected cases; adding that the checkup process aims to protect the individual, his family and society
