They highlighted the strict directives issued by the Cabinet in the past few days to speed up the pace of vaccination of the third dose and to vaccinate children particularly, following the emergence of the Omicron variant in some neighboring countries, and in consideration of the frequent contact with young children in schools, nurseries, kindergartens, and others that could increase the chances of spreading the infection among them, and then transmitting the virus to adults in their homes.
