KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: Singer Shams Al-Kuwaitiah will perform two concerts in Iraq; the first will be held in Erbil on the occasion of the New Year’s Day, and the second will be in Baghdad, reports Al-Rai daily. She declared that she has decided to dedicate the entire amount that she earns from these two concerts to help the needy.

Al-Kuwaitiah shared this information with her followers on her Instagram account, revealing that she had received several offers to perform in concerts in Los Angeles, Cairo, Dubai, London, Morocco, and Jeddah, but when she received an offer from Iraq , she immediately chose it without any hesitation.

Meanwhile, artiste Fatima Al-Damkhi revealed that she joined the ‘Harry’ play team, written by Muhammad Akbar and directed by Saad Al-Awad, who will perform in February 2020 on the stage of the Keifan Theater, noting at the same time that she is excluded from the series ‘Aghla men Hayati” (Most Valuable of My Life) despite her signing the contract, reports Al-Rai daily.

On her exclusion, Damkhi told Al- Rai: “During the last period, I signed a contract with the producer of the series (Most Valuable of My Life) to be part of the team, and on this basis I prepared to perform my character as agreed. It was to be this December, but I was surprised, without informing me, that I was not the part of the team, which drew many question marks on my imagination.

However, I am not upset with what happened (everyone takes his livelihood, and God bless everyone). Concerning the play “Harry”, Damkhi expressed her happiness to participate in it, adding “the theatrical show is directed at children, and was taken from the global character Harry Potter.

My participation comes through the embodiment of the character of Harry’s friend, who helps him and supports him all through, and it is beautiful here that the artist who embodies the character of Harry (Ahmed Al-Balushi) is very similar to him, which will give a soul to the role and work, she pointed out.
