Selling porn CDs – 2 held with drugs

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 11: The Ahmadi police have arrested an unidentified person for selling pirated CDs including pornography, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, the man was seized in Fahaheel after an unidentified Kuwaiti informed the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior that the man was selling pornographic material.

The Kuwaiti said he was offered a CD from the suspect and when the latter opened the bag he discovered most of the CDs were pirated stuff.

When police answered the call from the Kuwaiti, they rushed to the spot, seized 137 CDs from the man and referred him to the concerned authority to prepare his deportation from the country.

2 held with drugs: Two young men were arrested in Salmiya area in possession of methamphetamine and other drugs and drug paraphernalia. According to security sources, Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salmiya area when they suspected two individuals inside a vehicle and ordered the driver to pull over. They checked them to find the abovementioned drugs and drug paraphernalia. They were arrested and referred with the confiscated illicit items to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action.
