KUWAIT CITY, March 18: A wanted Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for exceeding speed limit while driving on King Fahad Expressway and for possessing drugs. According to security sources, officers of Special Taskforce were patrolling King Fahad Expressway when they noticed an individual exceeding speed limit while driving towards Nuwaiseeb area. They chased him and forced him to pull over. They checked his details to discover he is a Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for some cases.

They checked his vehicle and found drugs. He was arrested and referred with the confiscated drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for consuming drugs and sleeping inside his vehicle in the parking area of Qairawan Cooperative Society.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Kuwaiti lady that she saw a man in a deep sleep inside his vehicle in the parking area of Qairawan Cooperative Society, securitymen rushed to the location and roused him from his sleep. When they discovered that he was in an intoxicated state due to consumption of drugs, they arrested him and referred him to the concerned authorities for necessary investigations.

Woman arrested: Patrol officers arrested a Kuwaiti woman as she was driving under the influence of drugs, together with her brother. The Department of Public Relations and Security Media in the Ministry of Interior revealed the officers signaled for the woman to pull over due to a traffic violation that she committed. While issuing the traffic violation ticket, the officers noticed she was intoxicated, prompting a precautionary search that led to the discovery of a substance similar to marijuana.
