Schools to house deportees
A residence law violator or those who are reported absconding by their sponsors can go to a school in their governorate to await their turn for deportation from the country without paying fines, reports Al-Anba daily quoting a security source.

The same source said two schools – one for men and the other for women – have been readied in each governorate to facilitate the violators to leave the country during the period mentioned by the Ministry of Interior (from April 1 to April 30, 2020).
The daily added, the deportation will be systematic and each nationality will be segregated according to their numbers and will be taken directly to the airport. The source added those who have cases registered against them or those who carry a travel ban will not be entertained.

The sources added, after the expiry of the ‘grace period’ the Interior Ministry will launch intensive security campaigns to arrest the violators.

Anyone who has failed to take advantage of the grace period will not be permitted to return to the country again. The source indicated each school will be fully equipped with consular services to help violators to leave the country legally.
