Saudi Arabia reports 1st virus Omicron case

RIYADH, Dec 1: The Saudi Ministry of Health said Wednesday a case of the Covid-19 Omicron variant was detected in the Kingdom in a Saudi citizen coming from a North African country. An epidemiological investigation was carried out, while the infected citizen and those who were in close contact with him were isolated, said a ministry source, adding that relevant health procedures were also taken.
The source called on everyone nationwide to complete receiving vaccine doses and to follow all precautionary measures, preventive measures and approved protocols.
